WHO AM I?
“Saving One Animal Won’t Change The World, But It Will Change The World For That One Animal”
My name is Pascale Terry and my journey into animal conservation began in 2012 when I rescued my dog, Butchy, from death row. It was here where my passion and love for helping animals grew after witnessing firsthand the life changing moment an animals life is saved. Butchy made me see that every animal deserves a second chance and all animals want to live a happy life - just as we do. It dawned on me that human beings have so much power to determine the existence or demise of animals across the world and I wanted to use that power to do some good.
It was from here that my passion for helping animals began and I completely immersed myself with helping in any way I could; signing endless petitions, fundraising, volunteering, attending conferences and donating to charities that could make a difference on my behalf but although I knew I was making a small difference, I felt I could be doing more.
In 2016 I had a lightbulb moment and I decided to take the next inevitable step to transform from a ‘couch animal warrior’ to a ‘World Animal Warrior’ and founded World Animal Warriors! Since then I have taken part in animal missions all across the world, worked with a wide range of endangered and critically endangered species, helped rescue and rehabilitate a range of different species, volunteered in some of the best sanctuaries around the world, learnt and experienced more than I could ever have imagined and got my hands as dirty as possible.
Whilst my missions started off as solo, I soon began to receive requests from animal lovers from all over asking if they could join me and so I decided to open up my animal missions to you so you can encounter the life changing experiences that I have.
You don’t have to have any prior experience or knowledge, all you need is to be spontaneous, love experiencing new cultures, enjoy travelling to remote parts of the world and most importantly want to play a vital role in assisting in the conservation of animals.
I truly believe that taking part in these animal missions plays a vital role in animal conservation and in turn allows you to directly help protect species across the world. One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time and your heart and participating in these missions lets you do just that.
